Job Purpose & Key Deliverables

The Commercial Finance Intern in BAT will be given the opportunity to work for 4 markets (Greece, Malta, Cyprus and Israel) on real tasks from the onset, directly contributing to the finance aspect of the business and taking on increased levels of responsibility as they progress. Internship provides a solid foundation in a particular functional area, and widens participants' perspectives through leadership and business competency development. The programme is structured around a highly effective integrated learning approach, with focus on on-the-job development interventions, interaction with others and formal training programmes.

Key Accountabilities

Delivery of project work & assignments relating to competency and leadership development within functional as well as cross-functional teamsAssist functional managers and executives in the delivery of key aspects of their role, i.e. monthly forecasting, understanding of revenue performance, preparation of business cases, budget & investment proposals.Deliver ad hoc financial analysis and reports in a knowledgeable manner to aid in business decisions.   Support pricing and financial analysis of new market launches and new category products.Follow up with other functions on Investment ExpenditureBuild and maintain financial reports and modelsAny other ad-hoc tasks/ reports requested by the Finance functionWork proactively in close collaboration with line manager with a view to maximize and accelerate own learning process

Essential Requirements

University Degree in Finance, Business Administration or Economics  Master’s Degree in Finance or Business Administration or relevant field will be appreciated English and Greek (written and spoken), mother tongue or equivalentGood computer skills with advanced knowledge in Excel & PowerPoint. SAP and Power BI knowledge would be considered a plusStrong analytical skills, ability to link data to performance driversGood interpersonal communication skills and ability to interact across functionsStrong attention to detailAble to work under pressureAbility for continuous learning
