A great opportunity has become available for commercially minded Finance Manager to lead our financial analysis team in Canada. The Commercial Finance Manager position is a highly visible role in our business, where you will get to partner with both sales and operations on a variety of commercial projects to grow our business.Responsibilities:Lead of small team of Financial AnalystsPrepare and analyze monthly plant reports for assigned business entitiesCashflow forecasting and preparation of projectsDrive preparation of annual budget and periodic forecastingAssistance with Merger & Acquisition projectsPreparation of statutory accountsProvide strong financial reporting integrity and analytical review of commercial opportunities, ensuring proper maintenance of customer profitability models and new customer transactionsPrepare monthly financial reviews of customers, for management review and senior reporting, and coordinate ongoing customer profitability calculationsAssist in the annual budgeting process; and compare to actual results with a view to identify, explain, and correct variances as appropriateOversee monthly plant reviews and presentations on resultsEnsure accurate billing of customers is provided on a timely basisExperience, Skills & Qualifications:BS/CPA and a minimum of 6+ years' of Accounting /finance experience Excellent leadership skills and people management experienceKeen analytic, organization and problem-solving skills which allows for strategic data interpretation versus simple reportingStrong interpersonal and communication skills; experience in effectively communicating key data, including presentations to senior managementAbility and desire to translate complex financial concepts to individuals at all levels including finance and non-finance managersCapable of managing projects and time in order to meet crucial deadlinesDaniels Health & Sharpsmart is an equal opportunity employer.
