ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

The Vapour Commercial Finance Manager role will play a pivotal role in leading financial operations and strategy for Vapour Category. Key responsibilities include full ownership of Vapour P&L, performing in-depth cause of change analysis, and driving strategic business cases. This role will be key business partner to other functions and will also take the lead in delivering critical presentations to senior leadership.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Full P&L Management: Oversee and manage the end-to-end profit and loss (P&L) statement for the [Category Name] portfolio.

Conduct comprehensive cause-of-change analyses for all P&L lines to identify drivers of performance and opportunities for improvement.

Pricing and Incentives: Drive the pricing and incentives agenda across all channels and products, ensuring alignment with revenue and profitability goals.Marketing Investments: Manage a substantial marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation to maximize ROI and drive brand growth.Strategic Business Cases: Lead the strategic business cases, including: New product launches, Navigating regulatory changes, Other high-impact initiatives to support category growth.Business Partnership: Serve as a key business partnerto cross-functional teams, providing financial insights and guidance to support strategic and operational decisions.Senior Leadership Engagement: Prepare and deliver high-impact presentations for senior leadership, translating complex financial data into actionable insights and recommendations.Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.Audit and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all audit requirements and maintain robust internal controls for the category’s financial operations.Community Engagement: Be an active and proactive member of the Western Europe (WE) Finance community, contributing to initiatives and sharing best practices.

What are we looking for?

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional qualification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus.5+ years of experience in a finance role within FMCG, retail, or a similar fast-paced industry, with a focus on strategic analysis and business partnering.Strong financial acumen with advanced skills in financial modeling, data analysis, and scenario planning.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely to various stakeholders.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis software. Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is an advantage.Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.Strong business knowledge and a proactive approach to learning new skills, understanding market dynamics, and identifying growth opportunities.Highly organized with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Proficiency in English and knowledge of French is plus.
