Our team is responsible for ensuring the highest level of service and performance across all aspects of property management. Your Role As the General Manager of 50 Hudson Yards, you will lead this landmark commercial asset's strategic and operational management. You will oversee all building operations, tenant relations, vendor management, financial performance, and regulatory compliance to ensure 50 Hudson Yards remains the gold standard for commercial real estate. Reporting to senior leadership, you will collaborate with stakeholders across Related Commercial Management Company and Hudson Yards to drive long-term success. Key Responsibilities Operations & Building Management Develop and implement policies, procedures, and operational protocols to ensure seamless property management. Oversee maintenance, capital improvements, and vendor contracts, ensuring high-quality execution and minimal tenant disruption. Enforce tenant alteration guidelines, certificate of insurance requirements, and building access policies. Monitor and verify that vendors meet key performance indicators (KPIs), holding them accountable for service quality. Ensure compliance with NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) permits, managing open permit closures and maintaining TCO/CO certifications. Provide strategic guidance during base building construction and tenant fit-out, ensuring operational efficiency and problem prevention. Financial & Budget Management Create and oversee annual budgets, expense forecasts, and financial performance tracking for 50 Hudson Yards. Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate financial oversight and reporting. Negotiate and manage vendor contracts and procurement processes, ensuring alignment with Hudson Yards’ financial and operational goals. Fulfill all internal and external financial reporting requirements, including performance tracking and asset valuation. Tenant & Stakeholder Relations Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, ensuring a seamless and high-quality experience. Communicate regularly with stakeholders, vendors, and tenants regarding building operations, quality control, and service expectations. Oversee leasing, construction activity, and capital improvements, ensuring smooth transitions for incoming and existing tenants. Align operational strategies across the Hudson Yards campus to maintain consistency in service delivery and efficiency. Technology & Innovation Oversee and optimize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to improve building efficiency and performance. Continuously assess the tenant experience, operational processes, and property management strategies, implementing innovative solutions. Strong expertise in building operations, financial management, tenant relations, and regulatory compliance. Skills & Competencies Proven ability to manage large-scale commercial assets, ensuring financial and operational excellence. Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage effectively with tenants, vendors, and stakeholders. Proficiency in Yardi, CMMS, and Microsoft Office Suite.
