Position Overview:\n
The Preventative Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance and inspections on commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems to ensure their efficiency, safety, and longevity. This is an excellent position for individuals who want to grow and become a Commercial HVAC\/R Service Technician.\n
Responsibilities:\n\nPreventative Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC\/R systems in commercial settings.\nSystem Diagnostics: Identify and diagnose potential issues with HVAC\/R systems and components. Perform minor repairs and adjustments to maintain system performance.\nDocumentation: Utilize company issued laptop\/tablet to maintain accurate records of work performed.\nCompliance: Ensure all maintenance and repair activities comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.\nCustomer Service: Interact professionally with customers, addressing their concerns and providing clear explanations of work performed. Offer recommendations for system improvements when appropriate.\nTeam Collaboration: Work effectively with other technicians and service staff to deliver high-quality service to our customers.\nCompany Vehicle: Safely drives company vehicle, follows requirements of company vehicle driving policy and adheres to all safety requirements.\n\n
Qualifications:\n\nEducation: High School Diploma or equivalent.\nExperience: Prior hands-on experience (commercial or residential HVAC) OR completion of a vocational or technical program in HVAC\/R is preferred.\nCertifications: Universal EPA certification.\nTechnical Skills: Strong understanding of HVAC\/R systems, electrical components, and controls, with proficiency in using diagnostic tools, gauges, and meters. \nProblem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions.\nCommunication: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain technical issues and solutions clearly to clients and team members.\nPhysical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks. Comfortable working at heights and in varying environmental conditions.\nDriver's License: Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.\n\n
