What will I be doing?
The purpose of this position is to work closely with the EMEA International Networks and DTC Commercial team and support them to enable strategy and growth across the division. Interns are a crucial part of the team and will work on a wide variety of important projects supporting the team across a number of Entertainment and News portfolios.
You’ll join a team who are passionate about content sales and building successful commercial partnerships with key players across EMEA. As such it will offer an exciting opportunity to learn about the international media business and help the commercial team identify future growth opportunities in an ever-evolving media landscape.
As a commercial intern your day-to-day scope would focus on three different areas:
Account Management support:
Liaise with marketing, legal and finance teams where requiredRegularly update the commercial summary tracker for the key affiliates in French Speaking territoriesTrack and update monthly EMEA Affiliates tracker for News channelsResearch media landscape and help identify growth potentialJoin Finance and Legal monthly calls / Provide summary to Affiliate teamDeal negotiation:
Help prepare sales materials and deal memosAssist with business travel and planningCross division:
Liaise with Hayu DTC team to ensure synergies and for regular updatesQualificationsWhat do I need to bring to the role?
