The Performance Business Transformation team is responsible for expedited onboarding of asset owner and asset manager clients from a legacy internal platform to an external platform. The team is also responsible for providing an overview and analysis of portfolio performance to institutional clients such as investment managers and superannuation funds.
As a Vice President of Performance Business Transformation within the Fund Servicing team, you will spearhead the expedited onboarding process for asset owner and asset manager clients transitioning from an internal legacy platform to an external one. Your role will necessitate close collaboration with internal stakeholders in client operations, product technology, and product management across our global operating sites. Your profound understanding of performance, attribution, and analytics products, as well as their capabilities within the institutional client segment, will be instrumental to your success in this role.
Job responsibilities:
Assist senior department leadership with project staffing and governance decisions. Train team members in the use of applications. Lead and influence less experienced team members in a matrix reporting environment. Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and internal management/front-line staff. Collaborate with performance operations to understand client behavior as needed. Maintain a business-level understanding of both legacy and external platform functions. Work independently and collaboratively to verify performance and risk analytics across platforms using available tools. Interpret and draft commentary on functional testing results. Identify, document, and resolve production issues before and after migration. Provide concise updates on client migration status and assist with prioritization. Present findings, outcomes, and solutions at stakeholder meetings.Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
Minimum of 15 years working with institutional clients, including at least 5 years utilizing market-leading performance, attribution, and analytics software platforms such as FactSet. Proven experience as a people manager, demonstrating effective team leadership and development skills. In-depth understanding of the systems/software development lifecycle. Strong proficiency in office productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite). A positive attitude with a strong work ethic and a willingness to embrace a steep learning curve. Excellent attention to detail with a proven ability to solve complex problems. BA, BS, or MBA degree in business, finance, or mathematics, or an equivalent qualification.Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
