Responsibilities

You will:

Technical Design Development:

· Develop detailed technical drawings and specifications based on project requirements and design concepts

· Utilize CAD software to create accurate and comprehensive construction documents, including floor plans, elevations and sections

Collaboration and Coordination:

· Collaborate with architects, engineers and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of technical designs with project goals and objectives

· Coordinate with internal and external teams to resolve design conflicts and ensure smooth project execution

Code Compliance and Quality Assurance:

· Ensure technical designs comply with building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards

· Conduct quality assurance reviews of technical drawings to identify and address any discrepancies or errors

Construction Documentation:

· Prepare and maintain accurate and up-to-date construction documentation, including drawings, specifications, and material schedules

· Assist in the preparation of bid packages and construction contracts

Project Support:

· Provide technical support to project teams throughout the construction process, responding to RFIs and assisting in resolving on-site construction issues

· Assist in conducting site visits and surveys to gather information for design development and coordination

Qualifications

You have:

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field, or practical experience2-3 years of experience in technical design in the construction services industryStrong Technical aptitude and understanding of construction principles, materials and methodsKnowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standardsProficient in CAD software, such as AutoCAD and RevitStrong time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyMeticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision in technical designs and documentationAbility to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
