Position Overview Spring - Summer 2025 Commercial Landscape Internship with The Davey Tree Expert Company CLEVELAND, OH

 

The Davey Tree Expert Company is looking for exceptional students who are interested in expanding their field experience in the areas of landscape maintenance, installation, hardscape & design, and plant health care.  

 

STARTING DATE:                           

Flexible - We are currently looking for Internship candidates for Spring/Summer, 2025.

Job Duties Grow your green career with us!  Interns will be assigned a manager that will mentor them through a variety of job experiences within the Commercial Landscape Service line Enhance the appearance and value of properties through the cultivation of shrubs and trees.  Plant, spray, weed, fertilize, and water plants, shrubs, and trees.  Transplant seedlings, cuttings, trees, and shrubs.  Maintain and repair irrigation and climate control systems.  Complete crew administrative duties including timecards, plant delivery, equipment delivery, determine production schedule, read blueprints, order, and manage job site materials. Drive, use, maintain and properly operate landscape equipment. 

Hours: 40-50 hours per week, Monday-Friday with some Saturdays required.

Qualifications Studying Horticulture, Landscape Design, Landscape Architecture, Plant Science, Forestry. Arboriculture or related discipline in a 2 or 4 year degree program Driver’s license required. Commercial driver’s license highly valuable    

 SALARY:

$20 - $23/Hourly
