Role description:
As part of our Cost Management team, you’ll be involved in a wide range of projects from global and high profile to small and impactful, ensuring they’re delivered on time and to budget. Your expertise in planning, estimating, budgeting and managing costs will drive growth and smarter working. Due to recent tender success, we have kick started a proactive recruitment campaign to seek the best talent to join our fantastic team. We are looking for an inclusive, dynamic & people focused commercial leader who has a passion for making a positive difference within and around our Birmingham communities. The successful applicant will act as commercial lead with some of our key infrastructure clients, overseeing multi-billion pounds of investment in and around the city of Birmingham.
In addition, this role will offer the opportunity to form part of our Birmingham management team, leading a fantastic and diverse team across a broad range of backgrounds, experience and perspectives. The successful candidate will be required to support in the growth and development of the team as well as working with our wider business development teams to support the ongoing growth and diversification of our accounts. Finally, we would love applicants who have ideas for how we can disrupt and transform the Cost & Commercial profession in future, particularly with respect to the use of digital technology, sustainability and social value
Role accountabilities:
Leading the overall commercial delivery and performance of the projects externally and internally, from inception through to completion and handover into Business As Usual Liaising with the commercial and wider functions within Arcadis and our project partners to foster positive relationships and generating win-win commercial positions Overseeing change control processes, through close interaction with the project teams Overseeing contractual compliance, commercial excellence and commercial risk managementQualifications & Experience:
