The Commercial Manager – Novel Excipients will be responsible for the commercialization of Lubrizol’s novel excipients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify market opportunities, develop business models and execute contracts, develop innovative solutions, and build strong customer relationships. Additionally, you will be responsible for driving growth and market share in the pharmaceutical industry, working closely with cross-functional and cross-regional teams to identify market trends, customer needs, and strategic partnerships to achieve business objectives.

 

What You Will Do:

Develop and implement a comprehensive global commercial strategy for Novel Excipients, aligned with the overall business objectives. Implement pricing strategies, taking into consideration market dynamics, profitability targets, and value propositions. Structure commercial deals to lead negotiations and execute contracts to capture maximum value for our novel innovations Spearhead continuing commercialization efforts working across cross-functional teams spanning across R&D, sales, marketing, regulatory, quality, and supply chain. Lead market analysis, including identifying customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape, to shape business strategies and opportunities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development, ensuring that Novel Excipients align with market demands and regulatory requirements. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, engaging in strategic discussions to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

 

Skills That Make a Difference:

Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant scientific or business field. Strong background in contract development and negotiation is required   Experience in product development, pricing strategies, and business development is preferred. Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to develop and execute commercial strategies. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and partners. Willingness to travel globally as required.
