Commercial Lending Administrator - Insurance Lending

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Provident is a leading financial institution committed to delivering exceptional banking services to our clients. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Loan Administrator to join our Commercial Lending team, Insurance Lending department. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient processing and management of Insurance Lending loan applications and servicing.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Loan Processing: Review and process loan applications, ensuring all necessary documentation is collected and verified. Customer Service: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the loan process, addressing inquiries and providing updates on loan status. Documentation Management: Prepare and review loan documents, including loan agreements, promissory notes, and collateral documentation. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, bank policies, and procedures related to commercial lending. Credit Analysis: Assist in the analysis of creditworthiness by reviewing financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant information. Loan Servicing: Monitor loan performance, track payments, and handle any modifications or restructuring of existing loans. Reporting: generate and maintain reports related to loan performance, delinquencies, and portfolio management. Collaboration: Work closely with commercial lenders, underwriters, and other bank departments to ensure a smooth loan process. Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to loan accounts.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

3 - 5 years related within financial industry and/or commercial lending 3 – 5 years in banking Attention to Detail: Strong ability to review and manage detailed loan documentation and ensure accuracy. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients and internal teams. Customer Service: Proven ability to provide high-quality service and build relationships with clients. Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing financial statements, credit reports, and other financial data. Organization: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple loan applications and maintain accurate records. Technical Skills: Familiarity with loan processing software, banking systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently and effectively. Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with others and contribute to a positive team environment.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business

 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Prolonged sitting Lifting from 5 to 10 lbs (printer paper, storage boxes) Occasional bending or overhead lifting (storing files or boxes)

 

HAZARDS:

The hazards are mainly those present in a normal office setting and those present in commuting by car. Occasionally may be exposed to those conditions present in public forums and meeting places.
