Commercial Liquidity Segment Lead
Description Commercial Liquidity Segment Lead Role Summary: The Commercial Banking Liquidity Services team is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Segment Lead to drive growth, innovation, and strategic alignment across an industry or market segment. This role is pivotal to the continued growth and success of the Commercial Bank while effectively partnering and enabling success of Citizens Business Banking and Private Banking businesses. The Segment Lead role will specialize in a specific segment, such as Title Companies, Escrow, Trust, Real Estate Solutions, or Financial Institutions, while working as part of a team of Segment Specialists. This position requires a blend of sales, strategy, and product development skills to set the mission, craft and execute actionable game plans, and deliver measurable results. Key Responsibilities: Develop Strategic Plans: + Define the mission, vision, and strategic objectives for the segment. + Create and implement actionable plans to achieve growth and client penetration goals. Monitor and Adapt Strategies: + Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and market shifts. + Adjust strategies and plans accordingly to maintain competitive positioning and effectiveness. Build Relationships and Identify Partnerships: + Position Citizens Financial Group (CFG) as a trusted advisor within the target markets through thought leadership, industry participation, and public relations efforts. + Cultivate strong relationships with Centers of Influence (COIs) and key stakeholders in each segment. + Identify and establish partnership opportunities with relevant organizations and industry leaders. Achieve Sales Goals: + Deliver segment-specific client and deposit sales goals through a combination of targeted strategies and initiatives. + Equip internal sales teams with the knowledge, tools, and resources to effectively execute strategies and achieve goals. + Create and execute targeted marketing and sales plans for each segment to drive client engagement and conversion. + Measure and report progress using key performance indicators. Drive Product Development and Integrate Technology + Generate and implement segment-specific product development initiatives that address unmet client needs. + Collaborate closely with product management teams to prioritize and execute development opportunities. + Partner with industry-leading portals and software providers to integrate innovative technologies relevant to each segment. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred. • 7+ years of experience in strategic leadership, business development, or financial services. • Proven track record in achieving sales goals and driving innovation within liquidity-rich industries. • Strong expertise in deposit management, treasury services, and product development. • Exceptional strategic planning, relationship-building, and communication skills. • Proficiency in financial systems, CRM tools (Salesforce), and market analytics. • Ability to adapt strategies to evolving market and regulatory conditions.
