COMMERCIAL LITIGATION ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY (GENERAL LIABILITY)

Location: Philadelphia, PA

 

Our client, a prestigious law firm recognized in the 2024 edition of Best Law Firms®, is seeking a highly-motivated Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team in Philadelphia. This role provides an exciting opportunity to handle sophisticated defense matters involving mass torts, class actions, and professional liability defense.

 

Candidate Profile:

JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.

Active Bar Admission in Pennsylvania.

2+ years of substantive experience in commercial litigation and/or general liability litigation.

Experience with mass torts, class actions, and/or professional liability defense (skilled care facilities, hotels/motels, lawyers, architects and engineers, sports teams) is a plus.

Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.

Ability to draft and argue motions, handle discovery, and take/defend depositions.

Experience in state and federal courts preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Handle complex commercial and general liability litigation matters.

Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda with precision and strategic insight.

Conduct depositions, develop litigation strategy, and assist in trial preparation.

Manage discovery, including document production and review.

Work closely with senior attorneys and clients on case strategy.
