Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist

Wells Fargo is seeking a Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist in Wells Fargo for the Market Coverage Specialized Industries Team as part of Commercial Banking Operations division.  Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com.

The position will become the go-to for leadership and the team. Provide guidance and subject matter expertise to peers, colleagues and managers on the functions, policies, procedures and compliance requirements. Lead or contribute to project work, could include implementation of new or revised processes and procedures.


In this role, you will:

Provide servicing activities for low to moderately complex commercial productsCoordinate all aspects of resolving open customer service issues and interact with internal and external customersProvide customer service, loan and regulatory diligence and ensure compliance with all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirementsEvaluate and upload data into the systems of recordServe as primary liaison and work collaboratively with Sales, Legal, Control and Risk, Technology, and various Operations and company teams as necessary to progress customer-focused needsReview and negotiate basic loan servicing transactions, evaluate risks, and devise strategies to mitigate risks and identify procedural modificationsServe as an escalation point in the resolution of client issuesProvide guidance and training to peersCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goalsPresent recommendations for resolving low to moderately complex situations and exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements


Required Qualifications:

2+ years of Commercial Loan Servicing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

Experience with Loan IQ and/or AFSLeadership and/or SME work Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Sound attention to detail and accuracy skills.Customer service focus with experience actively listening, eliciting information, comprehending customer issues/needs, and recommending solutions.Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information.Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.Ability to work independently, proactively, and creatively while exercising sound judgement.Basic knowledge and understanding of collateral documentation, perfection, and business entities.Organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
