We are looking for an experienced Commercial Maintenance Technician to join our team at the 500 and 600 Towers of the Renaissance Center in Downtown Detroit. This position will complete the operation, inspection, and maintenance of all commercial building equipment including electrical, mechanical, pump, fire, plumbing, and HVAC systems to achieve increased efficiency. The Maintenance Technician will be required to ensure safety while decreasing downtime by completing proactive performance testing and scheduled maintenance.

Responsibilities:

Completion of daily work orders to include light bulb changes and minor repairs, plumbing, carpentry, and light electrical repairs. General maintenance of grounds, including common areas. Perform preventative and predictive maintenance as directed on equipment and assist in developing, reviewing and implementing comprehensive preventative maintenance procedures. Maintain operating logs on all equipment; record, correct and report all faults, deficiencies and other unusual occurrences. Make periodic inspection of all mechanical equipment and systems. Other general maintenance duties as necessary.
