Job Description

The Commercial Manager delivers proposals on time and to a high standard of quality whilst maintaining a focus on providing a solution that meets our client's needs by:

1. Management of Country Commercial Team (including geophysical, geotechnical and environmental specialists) to ensure successful tendering;

2. Assist Country Manager with commercial and financial management of service line (taking or assisting financial reporting coordination and assessment of Laboratories, Reporting, Site Operations, Project Management for Geotechnical and Environmental services

3. Managing all aspects of developing proposals and responses to bid/tender requests for large and/or complex projects (or project complexity levels 3 to 5) at the regional or country level, often with multiple service lines involved,

4. Managing the internal proposal approval process.

5. Adequately understanding and managing HSSE, financial, contractual, and technical risk,

6. Where requested by Business Line or Service Line Management, performing peer review on proposals. Works in close collaboration with sales/Business Development, technical and project management teams. Manages the proposal development team. Trains and/or coaches proposal development staff and helps manage their professional development.
