Commercial Manager

Job Summary


We are looking for a Controlling/Commercial Service Manager role within the CTO3 region. The role will be based in Kuala Lumpur but focus on regional IT services delivered from Malaysia, Singapore and Australia.
 
The Commercial Service Manager position offers a dynamic opportunity to play a pivotal role in managing the commercial aspects of IT services, driving financial performance, and facilitating business growth within a collaborative and innovative environment.

Key responsibilities

 

Assume full commercial end-to-end responsibility for IT services, ensuring alignment with financial objectives and targets. 

Define and monitor key performance indicators and relevant metrics for pricing, quality, capacity, business continuity, and IT security to ensure overall alignment and compliance with industry standards

Serve as the primary contact for all commercial matters within the IT function, liaising between business units and financial stakeholders.

Enable the business to execute projects and deliver services within the established financial framework and targets.

Conduct monthly tracking of projects and services at a transactional level, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.

Ensure operational input for financial closing processes, including internal commentary and accruals/provisions.

Drive forecast, planning, and pricing activities to maximize profitability and efficiency.

Provide support to the IT function in the setup of new services and projects, offering guidance on commercial considerations.

Execute operational commercial tasks essential for service delivery, including resource allocation, time recording, ordering, invoicing, and service costing.
 

Job Requirement

 

Bachelor's Degree In Finance or Accounting is required. 

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic understanding of SAP FI-CO OR BW.

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.

Experience with controlling in IT project areas.

Excellent communication skills to foster collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, with an appreciation for diverse perspectives.

Strong functional knowledge of accounting processes, with an understanding of the value of diversity in problem-solving.

Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and trends, leveraging diverse viewpoints.

Proven ability to thrive in a team environment, respecting and embracing diverse backgrounds and experiences.

Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail, valuing diverse contributions and perspectives.

Capable of meeting strict deadlines while upholding accuracy and quality, while recognizing and respecting individual needs and differences.

Flexible and adaptable to new ideas and approaches in accomplishing tasks, with an openness to diverse approaches and perspectives.
