What team will I be part of? You will be part of the Food Testing leadership team based in the Netherlands, reporting to the Managing Director Food Testing Netherlands.
As a Commercial Manager you will:
Develop and implement a strategic sales plan that expands Eurofins' position in the Benelux market and contributes to top line sales growth.
Lead and facilitate the sales & marketing activities for Food & Feed Testing and become a trusted and reliable partner to customers.
Manage, motivate and develop a team of 5 sales people, setting challenging but achievable annual targets and devising incentives to drive sales performance within the team.
Focus on new business development activities, lead negotiations and close deals, ensuring consistent and rapid growth in sales across the Food & Feed testing portfolio.
Create a high-quality commercial strategy to determine target segments, pricing and grow market share. Monitor the competitor and market landscape, evaluating the market size, competitors strengths, weaknesses and our opportunities to gain market share.
Act as a key contact for large customer accounts and ensure that relationships with all clients are positive. Attend and lead meetings as needed alongside the Commercial team, with key clients and develop in depth knowledge of customer requirements.
Maintain a detailed knowledge and awareness of the overall Food testing market sector including drivers, legislation, and best practice.
Encourage cross-functional cross-business team work to optimise business opportunities and ensure that any cross-selling synergies with other Eurofins laboratories in Europe are actively developed.
Implement appropriate sales management tools including formal pipeline management and CRM system as required.
QualificationsAre you our kind of extraordinary?
You are skilled in developing and implementing a sales & commercial strategy in a growth-oriented business. You have very good commercial awareness, business acumen and management level presence. You have experience in the TIC, laboratory testing or wider food/feed sector.
Background: You bring a minimum of 3 years of leadership experience and a minimum of 5 years experience in a sales/commercial role, with a proven track record of facilitating growth. You have very good interpersonal, negotiation and customer-focused consultative selling skills.
Education: You have a Bachelors degree or diploma in a relevant field.
Language: Proficiency in Dutch and English is a must.
Location: You are based in the Netherlands and flexible to be based on site in Heerenveen and travel to customer sites as and when needed.
