Position: Commercial Operations Internship

Program Start and Duration:

Spring (January – May) 2025

Location: Milwaukee, WI

The Commercial Operations Intern will serve as a member of the Clutch & Brake Division within the Regal Rexnord organization.  Reporting to the Clutch & Brake Division’s Senior Manager of Commercial Operations, this Internship is a unique opportunity for current undergrad and graduate students interested in the Commercial Operation or Finance career paths to contribute to the current and future growth of the Regal Rexnord business. This role will help drive continuous improvement initiatives and provide the potential path to the beginning of a long-term career with Regal Rexnord.

The internship is designed for students to gain real word experience by developing strong functional / technical expertise and business knowledge through challenging, hands-on assignments. Beyond the “learn by doing” training structure, the internship will provide the ability to demonstrate communication skills by way of presentations and report-outs to other members of the Clutch & Brake Division team. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Interaction with commercial and business leaders within Specialty Components providing real time, actionable data, and recommendations.Help resolve escalated discrepancies relating to data integrity, pricing issues, and trade pricing/promotional management.Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of the sales function and channels.Learn and utilize technology to drive root cause analytics and proactive issue resolution and optimized KPI’s.Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements that impact order management, inventory management, and dashboard measures.Assess, improve, and drive more effective use of technology within the sales process.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Student at an accredited university with studies in business-to-business (B2B), Finance and/or Accounting with expectations to graduate within 2 yearsProficiency with Microsoft Office applications and proficiency with Microsoft ExcelFlexible and willing to handle a dynamic work environment
