Commercial Operations Lead
**Job Title** Commercial Operations Lead **Reports to** Chief Commercial Officer **Position Summary** We are seeking a results-driven and process-focused strategic **Commercial Operations Lead** to champion commercial process improvements, optimize contract management and execute pricing strategies. This role will leverage Fortive Business Systems (FBS) tools to drive efficiency, compliance, and profitability while delivering measurable outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess a continuous improvement mindset, leverage commercial and/or contracting experience, be able to identify new opportunities for commercial success and a keen focus on execution. **Strategic Contract Management** + Lead proactive, cross-functional efforts to improve contract execution, compliance, and efficiency. + Partner with our Legal Team to optimize strategic contract management and negotiations, including BAA deliberations. + Drive process improvements that support Contract Compliance (e.g., on-time renewal rates) and actions associated with Enterprise Risk Management (ERM). + Ensure a streamlined, efficient contract process to reduce risk while enhancing the customer experience. + Collaborate closely with stakeholders (FBSL, CCO, NSD, CSD, CFO, CMO). **Strategic Price Management** + In partnership with our Product & Marketing Team, develop and execute a Pricing Strategy that balances competitive positioning with driving list price increases and discount control. + Optimize the quoting process for both new and renewal business within the Salesforce.com CRM system to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. + Drive measurable improvements in Price Realization, Time-to-Quote, and price execution. + Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Commercial teams to ensure alignment. **Enterprise Contract Pricing Strategy** + Develop, deploy, and manage contract pricing strategies for IDNs, GPOs, government, and channel partners. + Maximize contract penetration and profitability while ensuring compliance and minimizing admin fees. + Oversee healthcare GPO pricing management, contract negotiations, and pricing audits. Ensure compliance with GPO contractual agreements. + Ensure Contract Health through refresh rates and ongoing monitoring. **Core Competencies** + Champion Continuous Improvement: Utilize FBS tools (Standard Work, Daily Management, Value Stream Mapping, Transactional Process Improvement, Process Sustainment) to drive measurable performance improvements. + Strategic Thinker: Lead commercial initiatives to streamline processes, reduce risk, and maximize profitability. + Results-Driven Contributor: Deliver key outcomes in contract compliance, price realization, and sales analytics. + Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate effectively across teams (FBSL, Sales Analyst, CCO, NSD, CSD, CFO, CMO). + Innovate for Impact: Drive new ideas and improvements that optimize performance and outcomes. **Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or a related field. + 5+ years of experience in Commercial Operations, Sales, Marketing, Sales Analytics, or Contract Management. + Proven ability to lead strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects. + Proficiency in CRM systems, pricing tools, and advanced reporting platforms. + Experience with Fortive Business Systems (FBS) or equivalent continuous improvement methodologies. + Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills. **Travel Requirements** + 30% **Fortive Corporation Overview** Fortive’s essential technology makes the world stronger, safer, and smarter.
