Commercial Operations Specialist I

Overview

Provide commercial support for all inquiries related to TDW products and services. Ensure that customer requirements are correctly identified. Ensure TDW engages and allocates resources to meet customer demand.

Responsibilities

End to End Commercial process (30%)

Receive and process customer inquiries on time.Analyze the request from a technical point of view and link to the engineering/manufacturing department for non-standard products and/or project managers as needed.Participate in the commercial review handled by the Sales Manager and/or departments concerned.Liaise with various internal and external suppliers to ensure timely order fulfillment.Generate and liaise with intercompany partners to raise intercompany orders.Evaluate costs and resource availability, to ensure every order achieves its intended profitability.Develop the commercial and technical proposal and submit it to the customer.

Order review and transfer process (30%)

At the reception of the purchase order, review before entering data into the system for any discrepancies with the customer.Get in touch with engineering/manufacturing and the Customer to follow the plan approval process, if necessary.Check the compliance and acceptability of commercial and legal terms with the other departments involved.Follow up manufacturing/shipping schedule to ensure on-time delivery per backlog forecast.

Organization of order execution and invoicing (30%)

Ensure the collection and approval of all required order documents (HSE, quality, shipping, etc.) to be sent to the customer.Main point of contact for warehouse deliveries (in/out).Manage incoming and outgoing inventories within the warehouse (receiving/picking/packing/shipping).Prepare packing slip/delivery docket for outgoing orders.

Local Support Requirement (10%)

Participate in the yearly stock count.Inter-department support/assistance as required locally in Australia.Ensure adherence to local as well as global safety regulations.

Experience

Strong commercial and interpersonal skills. Strong communication and computer skills.Strong organizational skills and a sense of thoroughness.Engineering/Technical exposure is an advantage.

Requirement

Forklift license. Physically fit and able to lift cartons up to 20Kgs.
