Position Overview:

The Sr. Superintendent will oversee all aspects of commercial painting projects and ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This individual will be responsible for managing a team of superintendents and painters, as well as liaising with clients and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth and successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all commercial painting projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocationSupervise a team of superintendents and painters, providing guidance, training, and support as neededCommunicate with clients and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and address any concerns or issues that may ariseEnsure compliance with safety regulations and company policiesMonitor and track project progress, and make necessary adjustments to meet deadlines and budget targetsCollaborate with suppliers and vendors to procure necessary materials and equipmentConduct regular site inspections to ensure quality of work and address any deficienciesKeep abreast of industry trends and best practices in commercial painting and coatings

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent, preferably in the painting or coatings industry Experience with $5 million+ projectsStrong knowledge of commercial painting techniques, materials, and equipmentDemonstrated leadership skills and experience managing a teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specificationsStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesKnowledge of safety regulations and proceduresProficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office
