Job Responsibilities:Prepare, draft, and revise documents for various commercial transactions, including commercial lending and the purchase/sale of commercial propertiesLiaise with firm lawyers, paralegals, clients, and external partiesConduct and report on due diligence searches for various commercial transactionsManage a portfolio of assigned files for corporate commercial lawyers, ensuring timely and accurate completion of multiple deadlinesProcess received funds by firm proceduresIndependently draft routine correspondence and communicate with clients when appropriate
Our Ideal Candidate:Diploma in paralegal studies or equivalentA minimum of 4 years of experience in a Commercial paralegal roleStrong team player with the ability to work independentlyDemonstrates excellent time management and organizational skillsMaintains professionalism, confidentiality, and discretionExercises good judgment with high accuracy and attention to detailPossesses excellent verbal and written communication skillsHighly motivated, self-directed, and capable of prioritizing and handling multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
