Job Description
Our Digital Strategy team operate across a portfolio of global customer-centric challenges, along with regional and functional teams across Brambles. We are looking for a curious problem-solver with initiative, attention to detail and who wants to layout and drive our Commercial Development program via B2B Partnerships.
As a member of the Digital Strategy team and in close coordination with members of the DLT, you’ll lead on building new B2B partnerships to identify and execute at scale possible opportunities for setting up Joint Ventures / Go-To-Market propositions.
Joint Ventures with other B2B focused organisations will be a key element of our overall portfolio implementation and growth strategy and you will focus on the end-to-end process of the same around sourcing, evaluating, negotiating, and executing strategic partnership opportunities. You’ll collaborate with senior executives in our Digital Strategy, Advanced Analytics and DCS teams to develop investment themes on analytics and emerging data technologies, new product opportunities, propose investment ideas, and work with product teams to evaluate any potential Joint Venture opportunities.
Key Accountabilities
Outline and drive the B2B Partnership process for Digital capabilities, working closely with functional leaders across finance, legal, to build on opportunities for collaboration with 3rd party organisationsDevelop and manage a funnel of opportunities to accelerate Brambles journey towards our digital customer solutions end state Through joint ventures and partnerships develop early-stage concepts aligned to our North Star vision and strategyPartner with Digital Leadership Team, Corporate M&A team and Regional Digital Leadership on identifying product gaps, evaluating build/buy/partner options, collaborating on target selection criteria as well as the evaluating possible partnership opportunitiesEngage with counterparts across multiple 3rd party partners (delivery, technology, product) to sketch out possible options to develop prototypes and PoCs for potential products, services and go to market channelsBuilding out of commercial deal structure, supporting financial models and developing internal investment memos in support of possible partnership opportunitiesLeverage Brambles Logistics industry network alongside developing a network of tech industry contacts, venture capital and advisory firms to position Brambles as a leader in driving smarter, more sustainable and connected supply chainsSkills and Knowledge
