What you would do as our Commercial Product Manager
As our Commercial Product Manager, you will ensure that we can offer and promote our Swing Door product portfolio for all business units, different verticals and sales channels within the Division. You will also support, coach and inspire the local sales organizations to exceed our ambitious goals. As a Commercial Product Manager you are the main link between our Business and Engineering Teams. Your goal is to define the portfolio needs, work together with the head of the Product Unit on the future strategy, launch new products and develop sales in the Business Units through appropriate training and support.
The Product Unit, based in Landskrona, Sweden, is responsible for defining, developing and marketing all products and services connected to our Swing Door portfolio.
In this role, you will report to the Head of Product Unit. Our key markets are Northern Europe and North America and a key challenge is to understand the various markets and customer needs. Therefore, you will be asked to travel when necessary (approximately 20%) worldwide.
You would also:
+ Develop a deep understanding of market and customer needs, as well as the competitive landscape and how to create new opportunities for sales in our Business Units
+ Share relevant market input with the Product Development Team, keeping in mind our customers and markets’ needs as well as the competitive landscape, global and local trends in market and technology
+ Collaborate with and support our marketing and pricing team, different sales channels, direct sales and through distribution channels, as well as supporting vertical strategies across product units
+ Support the growth of our winning atmosphere and help us build an organizational culture based on Empowerment, Innovation and Integrity, keeping in mind our company’s strategy and vision
The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who:
+ has a degree in Sales and Marketing, Business administration, Engineering or similar
+ Has several years experience in a senior commercial role – Sales, Marketing, Product Management or similar, preferably within Building Automation, Architectural Hardware and/or related to Door Openings including strategic portfolio planning and business development
+ Has the ability to translate business strategies and requirements into concrete plans and solutions that will help us strengthen and grow our business further
+ Has strong communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams and build sustainable relationships at all levels of the organization
+ Has a strategic and solution-oriented mindset
+ Is proficient in English, this being our corporate language. Any additional languages would be beneficial
