Commercial Project Manager
Responsible for the completion of all commercial/financial related matters of the customer projects (category C). Furthermore, supporting the respective Project Manager/ Bid Manager in all other areas with the objective of preparing the bid/ executing the project according to the defined Project Management (PM) standards, customer requirements and the applicable Financial Reporting Guidelines (FRG). A professional collaboration between the CPM and the Project Manager/ Bid Manager is key for the overall project success.

Empowerment
Drives own empowerment with adequate signature authorization and project target agreement to manage the project. Supports the PM/Bid Manager in managing and optimizing targeted financial results with due professional care (e.g., project gross profit, cash flow, assets, and financing instruments)Manage the project throughout the project Life Cycle
Actively manages all relevant commercial and financial topics in sales and/or execution phase - Ensures an adequate handover phase, analyzes customer’s requirements, examines their commercial and contractual feasibility and transferability. Directs and agrees with involved team members (onshore, offshore, site, etc.) on all commercial topics - Ensures correct methodology for evaluation of risks and opportunities as defined, e.g., in FRG, PM guide. Supports the PM/ Bid Manager in identifying, evaluating, assessing risks & opportunities, strategies, and response activities. Implements applicable tax and delegation concept and ensures synchronization of contract structure therewith. Regularly performs lessons learned activities on commercial aspects and feeds results into own project lessons learned activities and into own organization.Manage customer requirements.
Actively gathers information on customer, strategies, requirements, and targets regarding commercial aspects. Commits to strategic decisions with the PM/Bid Manager in alignment with business strategy for own project. Ensures the accuracy of cost and pricing calculation as well as overall project books and records, incl. recording of such in appropriate ERP systems. Prepares commercial documentation for regular project status/bid meetings and ensures the accuracy of the commercial project data (i.e., FC, MIKA, cash flow) Ensures compliance with Siemens FRG and local GAAP requirements. Supports new project team members regarding commercial aspects Manage stakeholders. Cooperates closely with line managers and experts, stakeholders’ executive, and experts. Supports PM to select and involve partners/subcontractors based on strategic viewpoints and Manages preparation of bid documents in line with approval and submission thereof to customer Negotiates contracts/claim/change order about commercial aspects. Supports the Contract Manager by summarizing the critical and legal elements and the PM/Bid Manager by ensuring that the critical and legal elements are duly considered in partner/subcontractor contracts/respective contract amendments. Identifies, assesses, responds, monitors, reports, escalates all commercial risks, e.g., calculation, tax, insurances, currency - Ensures correct methodology for evaluation of risk and opportunities as defined, e.g., in FRG, PM guide. Ensures conformance of risk and opportunity reporting according internal and external standards (e.g., IFRS, FRG, PM guide) Supports the PM/Bid Manager in identifying, evaluating, assessing risks & opportunities, strategies, and response activities.Your Qualifications – Solid and Appropriate
Managing projects: Experience as CPM with full commercial responsibility for project results in cross-organizational projects (1 year of commercially managing external or internal (Intercompany Business) projects (≥1 execution or ≥ 2 bids) Management of international projects/teams (recommended) Ability to create structures. Planning, reporting and continuous calculation in project business. Contract, change, claim management.
