Job Summary

Responsible for leading the implementation of commercial projects (e.g. behind the meter fuel cells). Management of the customer, key vendors, and internal support functions including Opcos, legal, engineering, development, operations, procurement, finance, and accounting. Delivers safe, timely and cost-effective project execution within the parameters of the contract and pro forma model.

Job Description

Work Designation -- hybrid from AEP's Headquarters in Columbus, OH. On 6/1/2025, this opportunity may transition to fully-onsite.

Essential Job Functions & Tasks

Lead project management and execution activities.Facilitate the commercial and technical requirement amongst the customer, internal and external stakeholders.Meets objectives related to safety, cost, delivery performance, schedule and quality.Build and manage strong partner relationships with key vendors, suppliers, and contractors to facilitate ongoing execution efficiency.Build high-performing relationships with internal colleagues in the Opco, development, legal, engineering, operations, finance and accounting.Ensure risks are mitigated through alignment across major agreements (customer agreement, EPC, O&M agreements, permitting, etc.)

Basic Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, engineering, procurement, or related field required.Experience: 7 years of relevant work experience with a minimum of 2 years of experience in projects, commercial activities, contract execution or contract management experience required.

Additional Requirements (Preferred Qualifications)

Highly organized and detail oriented. Able to prioritize, multitask, and manage time and resources effectively, contributing to multiple initiatives and conflicting priorities.Excellent communication skills ' written, spoken, listening with ability to explain and interpret complex issues clearly, mindful of audience. High-energy, drive, ambition, self-starter.Familiarity with commercial activities, risk analysis, contingency analysis, market forecasting, financial modeling, and data analytics.Any Procurement and Supply Chain Certifications a plus.

$112,869.00-146,730.50 USD
