Roles and Responsibilities

Lead Proposal Development: Oversee the entire proposal development process, including conducting bid/kickoff meetings, developing proposal pricing, content, and managing all pricing and risk approvals.Analyze and respond to RFPs: Thoroughly analyze request for proposal (RFP) documents to understand client requirements and ensure proposals meet these requirements.Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs):  Work closely with cross-functional SME's subject matter experts to develop proposal content that demonstrates the organization’s solution capabilities, value and is priced accordingly.Edit and Proofread:  Edit, revise, and proofread proposal content to ensure it is clear, concise, and free of grammatical errors.Post-Proposal Reviews:  Conduct post-proposal reviews to gather feedback and lessons learned for future proposalsStay Current:  Stay up to date with industry trends and changes to ensure proposals are current and competitive.

Required Qualifications

This role requires proven experience in proposal management or sales operationsBachelor's degree from an accredited university or collegeEffective English written and oral communication skillsDemonstrates curiosity, is a self-starter, and is committed to ongoing personal and professional growth

Strong oral and written communication skills, along with interpersonal skills. Can coordinate with SMEs and senior management to keep the proposal process on track. Understands when and how to follow up on requests and can deliver messages clearly and succinctly.Ability to create and communicate execution plans. Capable of planning ahead to mitigate risks. Organized and paces work for predictable and on-time delivery.Ability to apply current knowledge to problem-solve new challenges.
