Position Summary:
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and overseeing the execution of multiple concurrent commercial roofing projects from pre-construction through to completion. This role is vital in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet our high-quality standards. You will be expected to collaborate closely with teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Scheduling:
Prepare and manage detailed project schedules and phasing plans for each job.

Budget & Cost Management:
Oversee project costs through ECAC and WIP reviews, and ensure projects stay on budget.

Team Coordination & Supervision:
Control manpower, supervise subcontractors, and coordinate on-site activities to keep projects on track.

Pre-Construction & Pre-Job Meetings:
Participate in pre-construction meetings, reviewing plans and ensuring smooth handoff from estimating to operations.

Customer & Client Relations:
Cultivate relationships with clients to foster repeat business and ensure their satisfaction.

Quality Control & Safety:
Ensure quality control is maintained across all projects and that safety plans are executed according to company policies.

Inventory & Materials Management:
Track material inventory, ensuring everything is available for project needs, and handle purchase orders as required.

Project Closeout:
Coordinate final inspections, manage project closeout documents, and ensure completion to customer satisfaction.

Additional Tasks:
Assist estimating, supervise work performed by crews, and provide guidance on smaller service projects as needed.

Qualifications:

For Project Manager:

Proven experience in commercial roofing project management.Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Experience with project cost management, scheduling, and coordinating subcontractors.Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications for roofing projects.Excellent communication skills to collaborate with clients, teams, and subcontractors.Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control standards.

For Junior Project Manager:

A college degree (preferably in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field).Some experience in project management or construction (preferably roofing), but not required.Strong desire to learn, grow, and take on more responsibilities.Solid organizational and communication skills.Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
