Role Overview: As a Senior Associate you will play a key role in managing and developing the commercial department. This position involves handling a diverse caseload of commercial matters, providing strategic legal advice, and supporting the growth of the firm through business development activities. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and develop a varied caseload of commercial matters, including contracts, corporate transactions, and business advisory work. You will be leading on commercial contracts to include supply of goods and services IT/technology agreements, agency and distribution, terms and conditions of sale and purchase, e-commerce, franchising, product liability and safety. - Provide strategic legal advice to clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction. - Lead and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment. - Proactively identify and target new business opportunities to support the growth of the commercial department. - Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor. - Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to deliver comprehensive legal solutions. - Contribute to the strategic direction and development of the firm.
