**Commercial Strategy Manager EMEA**

The Commercial Strategy Team, as part of the EMEA Commercial Strategy and Marketing department, is the link between sales-, marketing- and product teams to uncover new opportunities, ways to find new customers as well as serve existing customers better. This team is all about winning.
**POSITION SUMMARY:**
The Commercial Strategy Manager (CSM) is accountable for the entire business result of their respective product family(s). The primary responsibility is to deliver against the roadmap of new products (NPI revenue) and enable growth of our existing product lines, through innovation and building sales programs.
The Commercial Strategy Manager will articulate, evangelize, and execute on the commercial planning for the short and medium term for his/her product lines. This includes driving pan-EMEA programs like New Product Introductions, demand generation campaigns and large end-user sales promotions. This person will team up with the commercial teams to uncover new opportunities, ways to find new customers as well as serve existing customers better.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:**
**Commercial Planning:**
- Own the annual as well as quarterly commercial plan for assigned product lines.
- Ideate on, build and drive execution of all commercial programs with all internal stakeholders like Marketing, Field Sales, Channel Sales, Inside Sales, Sales Operations
- Specifically orchestrate, drive and manage all regional processes to
- Contribute regional insights and market feedback to global Product Life Cycle Management (PLCM)
- Actively monitor market trends and the relative performance of the assigned product lines
- Engage in ongoing collection of data and insights from internal and external sources
- Own the regional pricing (in alignment with global strategy and financial targets) for the portfolio as well as promotional strategy and related margin effects
- Comprehensively report on progress of commercial activities through bowlers, narratives and monthly L2 KPI reviews
- Act as stakeholder for regional and global agile teams in the marketing organization
-Will support PLCM processes, and help M&A market work
-Support the strategy work for Fluke global and EMEA wide
**Commercial Excellence:**
- Through FBS tools like Daily Visual Management drive prioritization and resource allocation within commercial teams based on targets and performance
- Through solid VOC skills, market understanding, and customer proximity be able to drive market segmentation, transformative marketing, value selling and sales process optimization within relevant teams
- Actively embrace, drive and report on problem solving related to agreed commercial programs and priorities
- Represent Fluke, the commercial team and/or the workflow on internal congresses, strategic distributor events, exhibitions etc.
- Continuously, through analysis of proprietary data and/or market data, assess opportunities for growth, both organic and inorganic
**Qualifications:**
**Minimum Qualifications:**
A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, sales or related field, masters’ degree preferred
10+ years of experience within a mid-to-large size company responsible for managing products and/or markets
Ability to effectively interact and influence at senior leader/executive levels
Strong stakeholder management experience in a large international/global matrix organization
A collaborative mindset and approach to the many projects that require team members from different organizations
Solid track record for developing and leading high performing commercial programs
Strong written and oral skills in English and any other European language would be preferred
Experience doing market research
