Commercial Systems & Support Product Manager

Position Summary The Commercial Systems & Support Product Manager is responsible for a team of professional employees dedicated to supporting system interfaces. This position collaborates with Information Technology (IT) to manage and optimize systems, visualization tools, and applications for the wider Commercial organization. This role will work closely with peers and system users within Commercial to ensure the team is connected to the systems/interface needs of the organization. The Commercial Systems & Support Product Manager will develop systems and processes to ensure collaboration and continuous improvement. This role will also evaluate personnel performance and foster the career development of their staff. Key Responsibilities + Leads a team of individuals with a technical/systems background who support applicable product lines used within the wider Commercial organization. + Coaches and mentors team members to help them achieve Commercial system goals. + Develops customer and internal facing product development strategies with superior user experience across multiple verticals, including vision, goals, and customer needs; Accountability for established or moderately to high complex products and/or product lines. + Builds and prioritizes product roadmaps and plan releases. Ensures alignment between teams to prioritize product roadmaps, plan releases, and align them with multiple Commercial group’s business objectives. + Collaborates with Agile teams, stakeholders, and business representatives to address and resolve issues that arise during product development. Provides regular updates and readouts to executive level Commercial leadership. + Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including IT, outside vendors, and business and operations teams, to align on product strategies, gather insights, and plan releases. + Identifies product-related issues, makes decisions and continuously analyzes trade-offs to ensure development stays on track toward deliverable commitments. + Prioritizes the short-term feature backlog and releases, as well as the long-term product roadmap for your products. + Conducts or facilitates customer research, product discovery and synthesizes market factors into a cohesive product strategy. + Collaborates with internal and external customers to understand challenges & opportunities. + Builds and prioritizes a backlog of Epics and Features to connect strategy to execution; ensures items clearly communicate the customer and stakeholder needs to meet key business objectives and strategies for the product. + Trains and educates the users of a given product line and supports system audits and provides needed documentation. Education and Experience + Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems or related discipline required. + Eight (8) years of business systems, product owner, IT or other technical Commercial experience required.
