ROLE PURPOSE
Manages and leads the commercial team responsible for sales assistance, quoting, procurement and contract management. The person will lead all aspects of team deliverables, timelines, and streamlining communication/coordination with sales, practices, suppliers, PMO and the clients. You will also be responsible for the cross training of the various functions to ensure business continuity.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Commercial Team Leader is responsible for ensuring the overall success of the channel from quoting to procurement whilst meeting timelines and supporting front-end sales with competitive pricing and speedy turnarounds. It is key for this person to understand and keep all related business processes up to date.

Build a qualified commercial team through innovative hiring and training techniques. Responsible for recruitment, soft skills coaching, training and retention of the department. Implement effective staffing and scheduling models for guaranteed coverage at the lowest possible costs. Overall responsibility for the management and development of the commercial team personnel and achievement of team objectives. Develop a customer care philosophy that ensures customer satisfaction (internal and external)Analyse team performance through various statistical and reporting methods. Market the image of the commercial team that ‘showcases’ and advances company sales and success.Effectively manage all day-to-day team activities and escalations.Supplier Management
Management of Suppliers and key client business partner relationships, ensuring their services are consistently achieved and improved.Procurement
