The Account Executive will provide professional, courteous account management and broking services to assigned clients, having the primary responsibility for account retention. Working alongside Producers and Account Managers, as assigned, the Account Executive shall be principally responsible for overseeing management of assigned accounts, including proactive consultation, insurance program design, carrier marketing, collaboration with colleagues throughout HUB, and negotiation of coverage terms and conditions. **Job Duties** + Manage and retain book of business at $750,000. + Lead and integrate HUB client team & resources with account by executing HUB's value proposition. + Produce organic growth through new, profitable accounts, as well as cross-selling & account rounding existing account. + Develop depth of knowledge in specific industry relevant to the client's you service and actively participate in industry best practice groups, boards and associations, etc. + Defend and support MWE culture & values. **Team Lead Job Duties** + Manages sales support employees(AE’s, AM’s, AMM’s, & ME’s) and functions within the team + Champions communication of goals, vision, and procedures developed by MWE Leadership + Responsible for culture alignment within team; hold team members accountable to our core values: Determination, Ownership, Teamwork, and Sincerity. + Holds team members accountable to Critical Path, L10 Meetings, Client Milestones, and other similar company procedures and reports monthly to Channel Leader + Meets Operational standards outlined by HUB-MWE and Hub Corporate + Maintains a client facing book of business of at least 50% of operational minimum standards + Communicates with other Team Leaders to share best practices and ensure procedural consistency + Ensure consistent workflow for new and renewal retention, regularly requests and reviews audits from COO to hold employees accountable. + Works with Accounting, Human Resources, and others to manage employees and implement regional projects and directives + Facilitate training employees on duties, expectations, standards, policies and audits and reviews these areas regularly as set by standards + Reviews employees’ workload and makes recommendations for reduction or hiring of staff when necessary; assists in the recruiting of talent for open roles within team and participates in the interview and selection process of new team members. + Conducts annual performance reviews for all direct reports and assists in annual budgeting and ongoing operational expense monitoring for all locations/departments. + Immediately and effectively addresses and resolves employee performance concerns following the performance management process + Provides feedback to management and employees about service structure to improve performance and productivity + Assures client service standards are being met + Answers client/carrier/employee questions in a timely manner. **Qualifications** + Minimum retention of 95% of book. + Minimum growth in book in excess of 8% of book managed. + Timely delivery of client services with the HUB Commercial Lines Service Platform + Complete exposure reviews on all accounts over $5,000 in revenue. + Develop strong relationships with TWO Carriers in desired expertise and/or niche and lead in developing each account's underwriting story. + Assess competitive markets and develop a marketing strategy with team + Review contracts for insurance requirements and explain exposures to clients as needed. + Must maintain one designation and work towards obtaining a LIC designation. + Participation in weekly team meetings, monthly sales training, and organization wide development meetings when scheduled. + Notify manager of any loss greater of $1,000 in revenue. + Represent HUB in the community as well as the insurance industry by actively participating in at least one association while maintaining relationships with at least one center of influence. + Opportunity for team leadership **Cultural Expectations:** + Determination – Unsatisfied until we are the best.
