JOB TITLE: Commercial Sales Representative

\nJOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES\n\n\tVisit assigned customers.\n\tComplete required CRM Tool daily to document account activity.\n\tCold call and prospect for new customers.\n\tCommunicate parts orders to warehouse. Advises whether status is stock or emergency.\n\tCheck with customers to ensure that delivery date of non-stock items is acceptable before ordering.\n\tReview any special orders with the Commercial Tire Sales Manager and obtains his/her approval.\n\tObtain Commercial Tire Sales Manager's approval for any special pricing.\n\tAdvise warehouse on delivery instructions.\n\tPerform deliveries to customers when necessary.\n\tFollow up on parts orders to ensure that customers have been served properly.\n\tCoordinate service sales with service shop.\n\tTurns in completed call reports, time sheets, and expense reports.\n\tUpdate customer records to reflect changes to customers' names, addresses, etc.\n\tConduct Fleet Surveys when needed.\n\tAdd new customers to appropriate mailing lists.\n\tAttend training seminars when possible.\n\tAct as a public relations liaison for the company.\n\tMaintain professional appearance.\n\tParticipate in all company sales initiatives.\n\tAble to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Able to write routine reports and correspondence. Able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Able to use Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and a smart phone.\n\tAble to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Able to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.\n\n
\nOTHER DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES\n\n\n\tOther duties can and will arise, and the candidate should be prepared to take on these challenges openly.\n\n
\nEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE\n\n\n\tBachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n\n
\nREQUIREMENTS\n\n\n\tMust possess a valid driver’s license.\n\n
