As the Commercial Transportation Project Manager, you will help build the transition strategy for PPG's Automotive Refinish division across the US and Canadian Commercial Transportation platforms. The Project Manager will implement complex, projects that align with organizational strategies. You will work with senior leadership, sales, product management, marketing, technical, commercial excellence, and supply chain teams. Reporting directly to the SR Marketing Manager you will build relationships with partners, manage expectations, and address concerns to foster a positive project environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop detailed project plans, defining scope, goals, deliverables, and resources.Align project goals with PPG's strategic goals and engage partners at all stages.Identify and allocate necessary resources, including personnel, budget, and equipment.Collaborate with functional managers to ensure resource use and manage project budgets.Implement and monitor quality assurance processes to ensure project standards are met.Identify risks, mitigate issues, and manage change processes.Lead and delegate tasks to project teams, providing guidance and resolving challenges.Conduct regular status meetings to track progress, address risks, and communicate updates to partners.Promote communication between teams and partners, ensuring understanding of project goals.Prepare and deliver comprehensive project reports to partners, maintaining accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle.Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a technical discipline.6+ years of project management experience with experience managing complex projects.PMP® (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2® Certifications.Proficiency in project management tools and software.Experience in the Paint and Coating industry, with knowledge of PPG’s Compass System being beneficial.Ability to travel domestically as needed
