Commercialization and Validation Engineering Manager
**Qualifications** **Job Requirements and Qualifications:** **Minimum Education: License/Certification/ Specific Degree Required:** University degree required. Focus in Manufacturing, Packaging or Manufacturing Engineering. Minimum 5 years experience (minimum 2 yrs may be accepted at Grade-11 if the candidate has prior Estee Lauder related experience). **Skills/ Specific Experience Required:** Bachelor’s Degree in Packaging / Chemical/ Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent experience) **Grade 11 Commercialization and Validation Engineering Manager:** **-** Proficient in grade 10 - Minimum 5 years of experience in Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, or Packaging - Provides supervision, mentoring leadership and guidance to CVE Engineers and Engineering Technical Associates - Independently generates efficiency improvements and cost saving initiatives **Description** **Grade 11 Commercialization and Validation Engineering Manager:** Commercialization and Validation Engineers (CVE) ensure Right First Time Execution and execution of all New Product Launches, formulation and package transitions on existing inline business. **Grade 11_12 would be required to demonstrate strong problem solving and time management skills as well as provide supervision, mentoring, leadership and guidance to Grade 10 CVE and Engineering Technical Associates** . Drive World-Class Quality, Margin, and Speed to Market. Serve as liaison between Plant Operations and other departments such as Packaging, Marketing, Design, R&D, GBSC, QA and suppliers ensuring package/product specifications are within manufacturing capabilities while meeting Brand and customer expectations. Demonstrate improvement through commercialization leadership across functions (R&D, Packaging, Products, SC), and throughout the end-to-end development cycle while leveraging global best practice and continuous improvement through KPI analysis and cross functional engagement. - Right First Time Execution and Integration of New Product Launches Driving World-Class Quality, Margin, and Speed to Market - Global CVE and Engineering Category Alignment. Demonstrate global alignment driving category optimization and CI (tubes, Jars, Spray Frag, Foundation etc.) through innovation identification and sharing, category benchmarking, strategic capability and competency building, global best practice implementation, commercialization standardization to include talent leveraging across engineering functions to optimize RFT. - Value Engineering - Deliver Brand/PMT COGs objectives through delivery of lowest lifecycle cost options in design, materials and process, which will achieve the desired level of service, performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction for new products. - Site Value Analysis - Ongoing strategic evaluation of the existing product portfolio with the objective of optimizing profitability through product modification, supply base management / alignment, and Supply Chain Methods improvement.
