As a Product Associate in Merchant Services Enterprise Commercialization Strategy, you play a crucial role in supporting the product development process and contributing to the discovery of innovative solutions that address customer needs. Working closely with the product management team and cross-functional partners, you contribute your skills and insights to help ensure the success of our product offerings. On our team, you will have a variety of projects to work on including market research, Product strategy, Sales & Marketing strategy, and evaluating new business opportunities. Job responsibilitiesSupports the development of our product strategy and roadmapCollects and analyzes metrics on product performance to inform decision-makingContributes to solution discovery through collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify potential solutions that address user needs and align with business goals Participates in product planning sessions, contributes ideas and insights, and assists in the execution of product initiatives, ensuring timely and successful product launchesCollaborates with the product manager to engage stakeholders and define user workflows, requirements, stories, and customer valueDevelop and drive the strategic priorities for JP Morgan Merchant Services, serving as an objective thought partner to the C-suite and other senior leadersPartners with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discoveryConsiders and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experienceSupports the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customersAnalyzes, tracks, and evaluates product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle. Analyze operational and financial data. Research and analyze industry landscape to evaluate new opportunities and identify emerging trends. Structure and build quantitative and qualitative analysesWrites the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills2+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management, project management, or a relevant domain areaDeveloping knowledge level of the product development life cycleExposure to product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definitionEmerging knowledge of data analytics and data literacyExperience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, startups (FinTechs), investment banking, private equity / venture capital, strategic finance, or similar rolesStrong interpersonal and communication skillsExcellent analytical skills and ability to structure complex problemsStrong interpersonal and communication skills; Excellent analytical skills and ability to structure complex problemsProficient knowledge of the product development life cycle; Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definitionDeveloping knowledge of data analytics and data literacyPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsExperience applying data analysis to solve business problems in fast-moving environmentsExperience with cross-functional collaboration, including influencing stakeholders and working with diverse teams
