About the Role-

We are on the lookout for multiple Commis Chefs to join our dynamic and professional team. We are hiring for full-time role and are seeking confident, responsible, hard-working candidates with a can-do attitude.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Deliver exceptional customer service to both and external and internal guestsPerforming duties in an efficient manner, whilst maintaining quality and standardsShow a sense of urgency in delivery of service, performingLiaise with the supervisor or manager on ways to minimise waste at all timesTo ensure that Hotels standards are met and exceeded in every meal servedTo continually be proactive in the pursuit of culinary innovationRequired to follow standard recipes and plate presentations in order to maintain quality standardsof production and presentationPerform particular duties in various workstations/kitchens - for example: grilling, frying, roasting and cold preparation in areas as directedResponsible for daily specials for relevant sections as requestedAble to run the day to day operation of the section in the kitchen

Skills and Experience:

An ability to thrive under pressure and work in a high paced environmentGood communication skills with atrue passion for customer serviceMust be available to work on a rotating roster especially on weekends and public holidaysMust have full working rights in Australia and currently live in Australia
