Job Description

We are currently looking for a passionate and skilled Commis Chef to join our Kitchen team at Oaks Broome Hotel.

As a Commis Chef, you will assist with the kitchen operations, servicing the Restaurant, Conferences and Events, and Room Service facilities at the Hotel. You will report to the Executive Chef who oversees kitchen operations. This is a casual position.

Hourly rates (excluding super)

Monday - Friday: $33.96 per hour

Saturday:$40.76 per hour

Sunday: $47.55 per hour

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need to:

Hold relevant Certificate III cookery qualifications and previous experience in a similar role.Have knowledge about Modern Australian CuisineHave knowledge and understanding of HACCP and OH&SBe flexible to work a range of different shifts, including weekends.Be able to work under pressure within a dynamic team environment.Be able to coach and motivate less experienced members of the kitchen team.Be self-motivated and able to work without supervision.Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
