Job Description

We are looking for a Compensation Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing commission earnings, processing adjustments, generating reports, and assisting with system implementations and changes. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely commission payments and improving our compensation processes.

ResponsibilitiesPrepare commission earnings, including calculation and testing system generated calculations to ensure accuracy and reasonableness of earnings.Research and respond to inquiries and requests for adjustments from Sales and Finance related to adjustments, invoices, freight, returns, etc.Process automated and manual adjustments as needed.Generate reports and commission statements based upon transactional data.Research and validate the target incentives and reporting hierarchy for the Sales organization to ensure proper alignment.Assist with testing for Compensation related system implementations and changes.Identify opportunities to improve or automate work that will result in more accurate commission payments and/or reduce the cycle time of commission processes.Essential SkillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Vlookups, pivot tables, and if/then statements.Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.1-2 years of experience in a position related to sales, analytics, or finance/accounting.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with coworkers at all levels, including leadership.Ability to work independently with little direction.Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with macros, building and reading formulas in Excel.Familiarity with AS/400, TrueComp, and ChangePoint.Strong track record in meeting deadlines.Work Environment

This is a fully remote opportunity, requiring candidates to work CST hours (8-5 central), no matter where they are located. Candidates must be able to work within 1 hour of central time hours.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00
