Commission Reconciliation Analyst
Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Commission Reconciliation Analyst to ensure the accurate and timely reconciliation of commission statements. This position involves reviewing and analyzing commission data, resolving discrepancies, and collaborating with internal and external partners. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong problem-solving skills, and contribute to process improvement initiatives. This role is 100% on-site Key Responsibilities: Commission and Invoice Reconciliation: + Review and reconcile invoices and commission statements from various manufacturers based on contractual obligations. + Accurately record commissions and address discrepancies promptly to ensure financial accuracy. Data Analysis and Reporting: + Analyze trends in commission payouts to identify potential errors or inconsistencies. + Generate detailed reports and provide insights to management on commission performance. Issue Resolution: + Investigate and resolve discrepancies in commission payments. + Work collaboratively with manufacturers and internal teams to correct errors and ensure timely resolutions. Process Improvement: + Identify and recommend opportunities to improve commission reconciliation processes and workflows. + Assist in developing and implementing tools or methodologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Compliance and Documentation: + Ensure all commission-related activities comply with contractual agreements and company policies. + Maintain accurate records of reconciliation activities, communications, and resolutions for audit purposes. Requirements Required: + Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience). + Proven experience in reconciliation, data analysis, or accounting roles, preferably within the foodservice industry. + Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data management and Pivot Tables. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail. + Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. + Effective communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external partners. Preferred: + Familiarity with the foodservice industry and its commission structures. + Experience with CRM systems or financial reconciliation software.
