**Job Summary**
Our Commissioning Services Team has an immediate opening for a Commissioning Engineer to join our team onsite at Camp Lejeune Marine Corps Air Station to verify the electrical equipment and systems have been installed and tested in accordance with the design and meet the design intent, levels of performance and energy efficiency.
TAIs Commissioning Group provides ongoing quality assurance services throughout construction so that critical activities like equipment startup, control system checkout and testing and balancing go smoothly. We help bring solutions to the daily issues complex construction projects produce and ensure that the Owner can confidently occupy their facility and begin carrying out their important mission without delay or future headaches.
**What You'll Do:**
+ Startup, acceptance testing and performance field verification of electrical systems including:
+ instrumentation, direct digital controls systems, power monitoring, permanent and temporary power equipment, feeders, vaults, cabling, wiring, terminations, substations, switchgear, breakers, fire alarm, sprinkler and security systems, phone and data communications systems.
+ Perform technical reviews of design packages, equipment startup documents, third party testing reports, commissioning test scripts, and acceptance tests.
+ Participates in commissioning and acceptance test activities with designers, contractors, equipment vendors, commissioning authorities, other commissioning members, FEAD and Public Works personnel.
**Your Background Should Include:**
+ BS in engineering with Professional Engineering license and five years of experience OR BS in engineering with 10-years of experience in the construction industry (preferably in the federal sector)
+ Working knowledge of National Electrical Codes, NFPA70E, and OSHA guidelines regarding safe construction practices.
