Your new role – challenging and future-oriented

In our HVDC Systems Team, we are testing and verifying the hardware and software for our

innovative HVDC Projects in our Test Center and ensure proper functionality and good quality of our

HVDC Plants worldwide during commissioning. Our diverse and multinational teams are working

closely together with project management, engineering as well as with end customers to provide

customized solutions based on the latest innovations in HVDC technology.

On-Site Commissioning of MV and LV Auxiliary Supply Systems, including powertransformers, DC Chargers, Battery Systems, UPS Systems and Diesel Generator supplyincluding Control and Protection systemsOn-Site Commissioning of HV Switchgear, instrument transformers, power transformers,auxiliary power systems, including testing of secondary circuits and their integration into thecontrol & protection of the HVDC SystemPreparation of test documentation and revising / red marking of hardware drawings in closecooperation with our engineering departmentTechnically flawless and on-time preparation of tests under consideration of the requiredtest utilities, as well as evaluation and verification of test results with respect to concept andfunctionalityYou support of Commissioning Management in Quality, Risk and Claim ManagementYou participate in improvement programs (e.g. Lean, Reviews and Lessons Learned)

 Bachelor’s degree or completed apprenticeship in electrical engineering or energytechnology with job-related work experienceWork experience / good knowledge in MV and HV substations: Primary components such asMV and HV switchgear, instrument transformers, power transformers, auxiliary powersystems.Good knowledge in secondary systems of power substations with focus on control, networkprotection, Interlocking.Experience / knowledge in the field of test equipment such as Omicron, engineering toolssuch as DIGSI, advantageous: knowledge in PLC (Simatic TDC / S7)Knowledge or ideally working experience in the field of Electrical Engineering andCommissioning of Electrical Power Stations or HVDC SystemsFluent English language skills, further language skills are very welcomeWillingness for worldwide business trips and mainly long-term assignments on constructionsites in Germany and abroad, as well as optional assignments on offshore platformsTeamplayer, communicative, proactive, positive handling of conflicts, decision-makingcapability
