Commissioning Foreman

Job Title: Commissioning Foreman - Projects\n

Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our Projects team consisting of commercial and industrial work as a Commissioning Foreman. In this role, you will serve as the essential part of successful mechanical system installs on our commercial construction projects as well as providing leadership and support on our sites. Foremen at Moore's are responsible for ensuring a quality install and startup for our customers and doing so by promoting safety at all times.\n

Responsibilities:\n\nEnsuring that building systems meet project requirements, design specifications, and industry standards.\nDevelop commissioning plans and strategies for projects.\nInstallation of refrigerant systems.\nStart-up of hydronic systems.\nCoordinate and oversee the commissioning process.\nCollaborate with project teams and stakeholders.\nEnsure compliance with regulations and standards.\nConduct inspections and tests to verify system performance.\nIdentify and resolve deficiencies or issues.\nDocument and reporting commissioning activities.\nCommunicate with managers on scheduling, manpower needs and resources.\nComplete commissioning documentation required per project.\nConduct training and handover activities.\nCollaborate with contractors and vendors.\nMonitor progress and address project risks.\nEnsure project completion within specified quality standards.\nOther duties or projects as assigned.\n\n

Requirements:\n\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\nThree to five years of hands-on experience within commissioning or related experience\nExtensive knowledge and work experience in the HVAC trade and general construction\nHigh level of mechanical ability\nStrong working knowledge of electrical and BAS systems\nDemonstrate professionalism at all times\nAbility to collaborate and communicate effectively with all levels of management and colleagues.\nCollaborate with contractors and vendors.\nDriver's License and good DMV record\nStrong leadership, communication and time management skills.\nManage relationships with Project Managers, Commissioning Manager, General Contractors and Owners.\nEnsure project completion within specified quality standards.\n\n

Physical Requirements: The position of Commissioning Foreman requires that you frequently lift and\/or move objects that weigh up to 50lbs. Must have the ability to consistently climb a ladder, squat, kneel, twist, bend, and work above head and below waist. Exposed to constant work in outdoor weather conditions. Travel to jobsites will be necessary and would require the ability to walk on uneven, unclean terrain for several hours.\n
