**DESCRIPTION**
We are looking for a talented **Commissioning Team Leader** to join **our Installation and Commissioning department** in **Oevel, Belgium**
**In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:**
+ Leadership and Resource Management: By leading a small technical group, you’ll ensure that resources are allocated effectively to meet customer needs and project goals.
+ Stakeholder Collaboration: You’ll maintain strong working relationships with a variety of stakeholders, primarily within the technical community and project management, to understand their support requirements and collaboratively resolve issues.
+ Engineering Expertise: Applying your sound knowledge of engineering principles, you’ll manage teams on the specification, design, and troubleshooting of the work environment, ensuring it meets customer needs.
+ Project Leadership: You’ll independently lead smaller business impact projects or own complex components, products, systems, or services, providing full accountability to the project team.
+ Process Improvement: By leading the development and improvement of work processes and systems, you’ll drive continuous improvement across a functional discipline area within the business unit site.
+ Knowledge Transfer: You’ll coordinate and direct work among engineers and contractors, assisting in the transfer of knowledge to less experienced engineers.
+ Technical Guidance: Providing support and guidance, you’ll influence the technical direction within project teams and continue to develop proficiency in critical competency areas.
+ Specialist Expertise: Operating as a recognized specialist in a discipline or product area, you’ll contribute your expertise to the immediate team, enhancing overall team performance.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
**To be successful in this role you will need the following:**
+ Leadership and Coordination Skills: Effectively lead the day-to-day operations at the office of your team of field commissioning engineers, ensuring proper planning, coordination, and organization of tasks related to the installation and commissioning of hydrogen electrolyzers in mainly Europe.
+ Resource Management: Ensure the availability of tools, PPE, and equipment to enable efficient work at various sites. This includes conducting site readiness surveys before dispatching equipment and personnel.
+ Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Prioritize and resolve issues by developing procedures and methods in collaboration with management, engineering, quality control, and contractors. A strong problem-solving mindset is essential.
+ Continuous Improvement: Implement changes and continuously evaluate internal processes to drive improvement and efficiency in operations.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Education/ Experience:**
+ Prior Senior or Lead Engineer equivalent work experience in a relevant discipline area is required with a demonstrated track record of technical problem solving and quality decision making. Knowledge of MS Office tools is preferred.
+ College, university, or equivalent Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or certification in an appropriate STEM field is required.This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
