We are hiring for a Commissions Analyst 
Instructure is seeking a Commissions Analyst who will manage our variable compensation plan administration on the accounting side. This role will work closely with many other departments to ensure accurate and timely commission payments, reporting, and capitalization of commissions assets. What you will be doing:Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base of varying compensation structures, and bonus programsManage daily inquiries and communications to and from the fieldVerify that new compensation plans or changes to compensation plans are authorized, signed, and updated in the commission management systemEnsure that monthly commission calculations are prepared accurately, on time, and in line with commission plansPerform audits to ensure accurate data entryCompile and manipulate data within excel to submit to payroll for processingWork closely with Sales, Marketing, Client Services, HR, Legal, and Finance departments to support an efficient variable compensation processAd-hoc reporting, analysis, and special projects
Here's what you will need to know/have:Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business preferred1-3 Years’ experience in Accounting, Finance, or Sales Operations Analyst roleProficiency in Microsoft Excel requiredHands on experience with commission software and is preferredExperience with administering and analyzing complex commission plans/contracts is preferredSelf-starter, quick learner, and ability to work in a team or individuallyResults-driven and comfortable handling multiple deadlinesExtreme attention to detail and accuracy
