What will your responsibilities be?

Meet or exceed profit plan goals related to the EMEA Stamping Commodity South-East Europe including cost savings, economics, quality, supplier rationalization, working capital improvements and other key metricsMaintain and update weekly cost savings roadmaps with monthly reconciliation to actual results. Lead high level negotiations with suppliers for savingsLead Sourcing activities in coordination with costing and engineering to drive a competitive advantage for Adient with financially stable suppliersImprovement of program profitability through continuous improvement, VA/VE activities, utilization of LPP’s, market testing, and leverage global sourcingDevelop, coordinate, and steer purchasing strategies for the EMEA Stamping Commodity South-East EuropeSupport of proper Make vs Buy decisionsLeverage of purchases across all business units and global programsEnsure the cost, quality and time-oriented supply of all Adient plants with the required products in line with the respective business plans, budgets, targets and strategies

Which qualifications are we looking for in potential employees?

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain or related technical fieldSeveral years purchasing experience, in automotive industry preferred.In depth understanding of purchasing tools and practicePC knowledge (MS-Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and cost analysis knowledgeProfound SAP knowledgeAbility to cooperate with people of different levels inside / outside the company and to interact with people to reach team goals and business objectivesAbility to recognize and respond to internal customer expectations with sense of urgencyAbility to gather information, analyze data, prepare and lead negotiations as well as deliver a recommendationSome travel may be occurring
