Manufacturing Supply Chain provides leadership and assistance to develop materials, logistics and manufacturing strategies to achieve the business plan for strategically located manufacturing facilities in North America and numerous outsourced fabricators and suppliers.
The Commodity Buyer I procures specified buyout items in a timely manner and manages supplier relationships.

What You'll Do
Issue Purchase Orders and review invoicesManage supplier issuesConduct regular vendor meetings to review performance and identify areas of improvementMaintain and communicate lead-time documents and monitor on time vendor deliveriesTrack forecast vs. actual deliveries and update and maintain price documentsRun monthly queries, maintain raw material specification documents, reviewinventory planning model, and balance commitments and forecasting documents with inventory targetsProvide and maintain accurate forecastRecommend and assist in ERP settingsAssist in removal of distressed inventory for each plantProvide input into the forecast for centrally planned commoditiesManage special project requirementsWhat We're Looking For
Minimum:
High school diploma or equivalentPurchasing experienceMaterial planning experienceKnowledge of raw materials with an emphasis on steel and construction materialsKnowledge of metal building components and end usesPreferred:
